PP-Bizon Guide for Counter-Strike 2
Damage, spray, the 64-round magazine, and when it is worth buying.
The PP-Bizon is the SMG with the biggest magazine: 64 rounds, 192 in total. It costs $1,300, both sides can buy it, it pays $600 a kill, and it reloads in 2.4 seconds - faster than any SMG except the MP9.
The trade-off is damage and accuracy. With 27 a bullet and 63% armour penetration, it needs seven chest hits to kill an armoured opponent at anything but point-blank range. It loses 20% of its damage every 500 units, and it is accurate only to 10.2 metres standing, the shortest of any SMG. This page goes through the numbers, the spray, when to buy it, and the skins and cases.

PP-Bizon at a Glance
The full stat sheet, straight from the game.
Every number below comes from the game build of 18 March 2026. Two of them define the PP-Bizon: a 64-round magazine and 192 rounds in total. Only the two machine guns carry more. What it gives up is damage - 27 a bullet with 63% armour penetration, and 20% of it lost every 500 units.

| Damage lost at 500 units | 20% |
| Wall penetration | 100% |
| One-tap range, helmet | None (68 damage) |
| One-tap range, no helmet | 172 u (about 4.4 m) |
Handling and ammo

| Tagging power | 100% |
| Accurate range, standing | 10.2 m |
| Running inaccuracy | 42.6 |
| Recoil | Set pattern |

The weak spot is accuracy. Standing still it is accurate only to 10.2 metres, the shortest of any SMG, and on the move it sits at 42.6, well behind the MAC-10's 27.9. The 64 rounds make up for some of that - you can keep shooting where other SMGs would be reloading - but the bullets still need to land.
PP-Bizon Damage & Armour
What one bullet does, and how many it takes.
Everything here assumes a full-health player at close range. Armour means kevlar on the body and a helmet on the head. The general rules behind these numbers are on the weapons hub.
Damage per bullet
| Hitbox | No armour | Armour | Bullets to kill, no armour | Bullets to kill, armour |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Head | 108 | 68 | 1 | 2 |
| Chest and arms | 27 | 17 | 4 | 7 |
| Stomach | 33.75 | 21.3 | 4 | 5 |
| Legs | 20.25 | 20.25 | 5 | 5 |
Two numbers here sit right on the edge. Six chest hits through armour add up to 102.06, and three stomach hits without armour to 101.25. Both work only within about a metre, so in practice they are seven and four, which is what the table shows.
Where the PP-Bizon drops off
The PP-Bizon loses 20% of its damage for every 500 units of distance, the same as the MAC-10. The bullet counts above hold only this far:
| Shot | Works up to |
|---|---|
| Head, helmet - 2 bullets | 690 u (about 17.5 m) |
| Stomach, no armour - 4 bullets | 672 u (about 17 m) |
| Chest through armour - 7 bullets | 391 u (about 10 m) |
| Head, no helmet - 1 bullet | 172 u (about 4.4 m) |
| Chest, no armour - 4 bullets | 172 u (about 4.4 m) |
| Stomach through armour - 5 bullets | 137 u (about 3.5 m) |
| Legs - 5 bullets | 28 u (under 1 m) |
Past each of those distances the count goes up by one. Damage is multiplied by 0.8 for every 500 units of distance, and it drops smoothly in between. Two headshots on an unhelmeted player kill out to 1,726 units, about 44 metres.
What this means in a fight
Against a player without armour, four chest hits take 0.24 seconds at 750 rounds a minute, out to about 4 metres; past that it needs five, 0.32 seconds. Against kevlar it needs seven, 0.48 seconds - tied with the MP5-SD for the slowest SMG through armour. What the PP-Bizon has is time: with 64 rounds you can miss more and still finish the fight without reloading. Against armour, aim for the head - two helmeted headshots kill out to about 17 metres.
PP-Bizon Recoil & Spray
Where sixty-four bullets go, and how to pull them back.
The PP-Bizon fires 750 rounds a minute, one bullet every 80 milliseconds. A full magazine of 64 lasts about five seconds. The recoil pattern follows the same overall path every time you spray, which is why spray control can be learned. On top of it sits a little random spread that grows the longer you hold the trigger.
The dots show where each bullet goes if you hold the trigger and don't touch the mouse. The dashed line is where you aimed, and the white dot is the latest shot. The panel on the right is the mouse movement that cancels it - the same path turned upside down and mirrored. ×1 plays at real speed, ×0.5 and ×0.25 slow it down, and Step by step fires one bullet per click with Next shot.
The spray, shot by shot
- Shots 1-3. Barely move. The first three bullets land almost where you aimed.
- Shots 4-9. Up, first a little to the right, then back. Pull down.
- Shots 10-13. Up and to the left. Pull down and to the right.
- Shots 14-16. Back towards the middle. Ease off to the left.
- Shots 17-26. A long drift to the left, furthest out at shot 26. The climb stops around shot 20. Pull right.
- Shots 27-40. The spray stays left of where you aimed and wanders a little. Hold the correction to the right.
- Shots 41-48. Left again, furthest at shot 48 - the widest point of the whole spray. Pull right.
- Shots 49-57. Part of the way back. Ease off.
- Shots 58-64. Back to the middle.
From shot 20 on, the spray hardly goes higher. For most of the magazine it sits to the left of where you aimed, so after the first climb the main job is holding the mouse to the right.
How to actually use it
The first thirteen shots are the part worth drilling - a pull down, then down and to the right. That covers the four chest hits an unarmoured player needs and the seven an armoured one needs (see Damage & Armour). With 64 rounds it is tempting to hold the trigger through the whole magazine, but by then the random spread is large.
Spray control will not make the PP-Bizon accurate on the move. Its running inaccuracy is 42.6, better than any rifle but among the worst of the SMGs. Tapping the opposite movement key - counter-strafing - brings you to a stop faster than just letting go of the key.
The accurate range is only 10.2 metres standing, the shortest of any SMG. At longer range, short bursts at head height work better than a spray.
Did the spray change in 2026?
No. In April 2026 Valve changed how the screen moves when you fire, so it feels closer to CS:GO. Where the bullets land stayed the same. I also checked the pattern offline, on a private server, against my own Logitech G HUB Lua script for the PP-Bizon: its mouse path lines up with these 64 shots. The bullets sit so close together that shot 54 is hidden under shot 53 in the recording I worked from, so that one follows the script's path. I don't recommend using scripts like this in Competitive or Premier.
When to Buy the PP-Bizon
Anti-eco, force buys, and what the 64 rounds are worth.
The PP-Bizon does the same two jobs as the other SMGs - anti-eco and force buys - and both sides can buy it. What it adds is ammo: 64 rounds a magazine and 192 in total.
Against an eco
Against players with pistols and no armour, four chest hits kill in 0.24 seconds up close, and every kill pays $600. Three kills pay $1,800, more than the gun cost. With 64 rounds in the magazine, you can take several fights in a row before you have to reload.
What a force buy adds up to
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| PP-Bizon | $1,300 |
| Kevlar + helmet | $1,000 |
| Smoke | $300 |
| Flashbang | $200 |
| Total | $2,800 |
On the T side that is exactly the price of a Galil with the same armour and no grenades. On the CT side a FAMAS with armour costs $2,950.
PP-Bizon or another SMG
If you expect armour, the PP-Bizon is not the best SMG for it. It needs seven chest hits, 0.48 seconds, where the UMP-45 needs five up close (0.36) for $100 less, and the MP9 and MAC-10 need seven but fire faster (0.42 and 0.45) and cost less. What the PP-Bizon gives you is 64 rounds and a 2.4-second reload - more room to miss and less time reloading. Against a pure eco, where the other SMGs kill just as well, that is the reason to pick it.
PP-Bizon or a rifle
The Galil is $500 more and the FAMAS $650 more. Both need five chest hits through armour, 0.36 seconds, and keep that count far out - where the PP-Bizon needs seven even up close. If the other team has armour and you can afford a rifle with armour, take the rifle. More in the Galil AR and FAMAS guides.
PP-Bizon vs Other SMGs
What the PP-Bizon does better, and what it gives up.
The PP-Bizon wins on ammo and reload time, and loses on damage against armour and accuracy. How much that matters depends on who you compare it with. The table below has all the numbers side by side.
vs MP9
$50 cheaper and CT only. Both need seven chest hits through armour, but the MP9 fires faster, 0.42 seconds against 0.48, and loses only 13% of its damage every 500 units against 20%. It is also far more accurate standing still, 15.9 metres against 10.2. The PP-Bizon carries 192 rounds to the MP9's 90. Details in the MP9 guide.
vs MAC-10
$250 cheaper and T only, with the same 20% damage drop. The MAC-10 needs seven chest hits through armour too, 0.45 seconds, and it is much better on the move, 27.9 against 42.6. The PP-Bizon has 64 rounds a magazine against 30 and reloads a little faster, 2.4 seconds against 2.6. Details in the MAC-10 guide.
vs UMP-45
$100 cheaper and also available to both sides. Up close the UMP-45 kills through armour in five chest hits, 0.36 seconds, against the PP-Bizon's seven in 0.48. The PP-Bizon holds 64 rounds to the UMP-45's 25 and reloads a full second faster, 2.4 against 3.4. Details in the UMP-45 guide.
vs MP7
$100 more. It kills through armour in six chest hits, 0.40 seconds, out to about 11 metres, and loses only 13% of its damage every 500 units. It is more accurate standing and moving, 14.4 metres and 30.5 against 10.2 and 42.6. It holds 30 rounds a magazine. Details in the MP7 guide.
vs P90
$1,050 more and the other big-magazine SMG, with 50 rounds. It kills through armour in six chest hits, 0.35 seconds, up to about 6 metres, and fires 857 rounds a minute. It pays only $300 a kill, reloads in 3.4 seconds against 2.4, and on the move the two are close, 45.7 against 42.6. Details in the P90 guide.
The MP5-SD has its own guide: MP5-SD. For the step up in price, see the FAMAS and Galil AR guides.

PP-Bizon Skins & Cases
PP-Bizon skins by market listings and price, and where they come from.
Three ways to look at PP-Bizon skins. Most listed are the ones with the most offers across the markets I track, in other words the ones currently offered most often. Most expensive are the skins that stay expensive even in their cheapest wear. Cheapest are the ones that stay cheap even in their best wear. Prices update every 15 minutes, and the range on each card runs from the cheapest variant to the most expensive one, wear and StatTrak included.

Common PP-Bizon Mistakes
Small habits that cost rounds, and what the numbers say instead.
Reloading after every fight
Since the 18 March 2026 update, a reload throws away whatever is left in the magazine and takes a full one from your reserve. The PP-Bizon has two spare magazines of 64, so a reload with 30 rounds still in the gun throws away a whole MAC-10 magazine's worth. With 64 rounds, an early reload is rarely needed at all. How this habit caught me out is in the AK-47 guide.
The second reload mistake is reloading when you are not safe. From pressing R to being able to shoot again the PP-Bizon needs 2.4 seconds. Only reload when you are sure nobody can swing on you for more than two seconds.
Waiting for a one-tap
A helmeted headshot does 68 damage, so the PP-Bizon never kills with one bullet to a helmeted head. Even without a helmet, the one-tap works only inside about 4 metres. Two headshots, or a short burst at head height, are what actually kill.
Taking long fights
The PP-Bizon is accurate only to 10.2 metres standing, the shortest of any SMG, and loses 20% of its damage for every 500 units. Past about 10 metres it needs eight chest hits through armour, and past 17 metres two helmeted headshots are no longer enough. Pick spots where the fight starts close. The numbers are in Damage & Armour.
Buying it against armour
Against a team with armour, seven chest hits even up close make the PP-Bizon the slowest SMG to kill with, tied with the MP5-SD. The UMP-45 costs $100 less and needs five. More in When to Buy.
Holding the trigger through all sixty-four
A 64-round magazine makes it easy to keep shooting, but after the first climb the spray sits to the left of where you aimed, and the random spread keeps growing. Short bursts with a moment to reset land more bullets than one long spray. The spray section shows where the bullets go.
Shooting on the move
The PP-Bizon's running inaccuracy is 42.6, better than any rifle but among the worst of the SMGs. A spray on the move goes wide. Stop first: tapping the opposite movement key - counter-strafing - brings you to a stop faster than just letting go of the key.
More SMGs
The other six SMGs in CS2, starting with the other big magazine.
P90
Easily recognizable for its unique bullpup design, the P90 is a great weapon to shoot on the move due to its high-capacity magazine and low recoil.

MP9
Manufactured in Switzerland, the cutting-edge MP9 SMG is an ergonomic polymer weapon favored by private security firms.

MAC-10
Essentially a box that bullets come out of, the MAC-10 SMG boasts a high rate of fire, with poor spread accuracy and high recoil as trade-offs.

MP7
Versatile but expensive, the German-made MP7 SMG is the perfect choice for high-impact close-range combat.

MP5-SD
Often imitated but never equaled, the iconic MP5 is perhaps the most versatile and popular SMG in the world. This SD variant comes equipped with an integrated silencer, making an already formidable weapon whisper-quiet.

UMP-45
The misunderstood middle child of the SMG family, the UMP45's small magazine is the only drawback to an otherwise versatile close-quarters automatic.
