Installation & Launch Information
After clicking the download link, you will be redirected to a Google Drive page where the installation file is hosted. The downloaded file is an .exe installer.
Download the file and run it. During installation, you will be asked to choose the destination directory. By default, the installer also offers to create a desktop shortcut. If you are unsure how to manually launch Counter-Strike 1.6, it is recommended to keep this option enabled.
This build is a clean copy based on the original Steam version. It does not include any third-party launchers, additional DLL libraries, or background software.
The game is launched using hl.exe with the -game cstrike parameter.
For example, if the game is installed on drive D in the \Games\ folder, the shortcut target should look like this:

CS 1.6 Original Version Download
