Steam servers in Ireland

This page counts CS 1.6 servers from the Steam list that stand in Ireland, by the IP address of the machine. It is the location of the server, not of its players: many communities rent machines in another country, often in Germany or France, where hosting is cheap and the ping is fine for half of Europe. Servers that only show up on their own non-Steam master lists, and there are many of them in Brazil and in the Russian-speaking world, are not in the Steam list and not counted here. And the time of day matters a lot: in the morning a country can have a few dozen players, in the evening hundreds.

Over the last 30 days servers in Ireland had 11 real players at any moment on average - 0.2% of everyone on CS 1.6 Steam servers, #25 of 76 countries. Right now 7 people play on 2 servers there, mostly deathmatch and classic. The maps with the most players at the moment: de_dust2, cs_assault_mini. The busiest time is Thursday around 19:00 UTC, the quietest Wednesday around 06:00 UTC.
